REFURBISHING PROJECTS  

  • BLACK IS THE NEW WHITE

    FOR DEBBIE'S KITCHEN

Our client Debbie wanted to give her kitchen a fresh new look, meanwhile keeping her granite countertops.

Our solution was to offer a dramatic flair by designing a black kitchen.

With an unique black finish the cabinets look timeless and bold. The contrast between the rustic feel of the cabinets and the metal outlook of the backsplash is elevating each other, and suggests a contemporary approach.

    what we did

Refurbishing cabinets with black base with age dust and red pigment and silver leaf trim, silver metal backsplash.

  • DEBBIE’S BATHROOM

A beautiful historic looking patina creates a timeless dimensional finish to pair with the existing marble countertop.

Additional Lower Cabinet and Linen Tower maximize storage space and updated the look.

  • EILEEN’S KITCHEN

We took an artistic approach to transform this kitchen with charcoal veined venetian plaster finish on the cabinets.

On the center island a black and oxidized copper leaf application called “New England Fall” was used.

The detail in these multi layered compositions draws your eye in close and becomes the center of conversation in the gathering place of the home.

    what we did

Refurbishing cabinets with marble effect, color paint wall Benjamin Moore.

  • Transitional Guest Bedroom

As many of you know, some, if not most, Florida homes lack natural lighting.

One of our favorite ways of brightening up a room, as well as making it feel more spacious is to use oxidized mirrors if the occasion presents itself.

Luckily, we had to work our magic on a few pieces of furniture that allowed us to completely change the mood of the room.

    See for yourselves.

    what we did

Refurbishing (using chalk paint), wall color selection (Benjamin Moore), oxidized mirror (attached to the back of the cabinets), selection of accessories (bedding, pillows, window drapes and shades, home décor objects).

  • THE ROAD TO MARRAKESH KITCHEN

Going from light to dark colors offers an impressive change, and we often forget how elegant and contemplative non-white spaces can be.

From selection of wall color to cabinets and backsplash, this kitchen took a 360 turn.

We called it The Road to Marrakesh.

    what we did

Refurbishing (distressed finish), wall color selection (Benjamin Moore), backsplash (glass finish with Moroccan motif and silver leaf).

  • TEAL AND SILVER BOARD

If this board were a poem it would be called - ‘From old to new with the stroke of brush’.

    what we did

    Refurbishing teal with silver accents.

  • BLUE AND GOLD CABINET
